Node Scrubs & Uniform opened on National Nurses Day, May 6, 2008 and is growing by the minute thanks to our wonderful and loyal customers and our great support system of friends, family, and clients. A family owned and operated business, we only take two things seriously here: our customer service and our continuing effort to provide quality scrubs that meet YOUR needs. We are located in the beautiful Willamette Valley deep in the "wine country" of Oregon.
NAME: That's the question they all want to know! Why NODE? The store's name, NODE, was actually derived from an anatomical part of the heart, the sinoatrial node. Although there are many nodes in the body, this one had significance for an underlying message. Let's start here: the sinoatrial node (or SA node) is the impulse generating tissue in the right atrium of the heart. Often called the heart's "primary pacemaker", it's electrical impulse results in the sinus rhythm. What our medical, dental, and veterinary workforce do for a living is help others, whether it be two- or four-legged, all day every working day. They have dedicated their lives to the health of people and animals alike. Most of these people choose these professions because they are caring individuals, and what wonderful people they are! Thank you for taking care of my loved ones, my family, my friends, and our beloved animals.
